ISTANBUL, 01 MAG - La polizia è intervenuta con gas lacrimogeni contro alcuni manifestanti che hanno tentato di forzare una barriera formata dagli agenti per impedire ai dimostranti di marciare verso la centrale piazza Taksim di Istanbul, vietata per le celebrazioni del Primo Maggio. Lo riferiscono vari media turchi, pubblicando video dove si vedono gli attivisti scontrarsi con gli agenti. Dopo le tensioni, i principali gruppi sindacali hanno deciso di non marciare verso piazza Taksim. Oltre 160 attivisti che hanno tentato di raggiungere le zone vietate alle manifestazioni sono stati fermati e portati in caserma per accertamenti. (ANSA).
