The largest Italian lake, has reached its lowest level since 1953 and is now only 45.8 centimeters above the hydrometric zero, that is, the share on the average sea level established as a conventional reference for this basin, compared to an average of 109 centimeters in the last 70 years. This is indicated by the data of the satellite Sentinel-2, within the European Observatory on Drought of the Copernicus program, managed by the European Commission and the European Space Agency. (ANSA).
