TAIPEI, 19 GIU - Taiwan "non si piegherà" alle pressioni della Cina. Lo ha detto il presidente dell'isola, William Lai, durante una conferenza stampa nella quale ha tracciato il bilancio del suo primo mese in carica. "Oltre alla forza militare, loro (il governo cinese, ndr) hanno impiegato sempre maggiori metodi di coercizione per costringere Taiwan alla sottomissione - ha sottolineato -. Tuttavia, Taiwan non si piegherà alla pressione". (ANSA).
