ROMA, 25 GIU - Il rilascio di Julian Assange è stato "incerto" negli ultimi tre giorni: lo ha detto alla BBC Radio 4 la moglie del co-fondatore di Wikileak, Stella, aggiungendo che le ultime 72 ore sono state "non stop". Parlando dall'Australia al programma 'Today', Stella Assange ha dichiarato di essere "euforica: francamente è incredibile - ha detto -, sembra che non sia reale". La moglie di Assange ha spiegato di poter commentante solo in modo "limitato" l'accordo di principio raggiunto con il dipartimento di Giustizia statunitense per il rilascio di suo marito, ma ha confermato che esso prevede che Julian Assange si dichiari colpevole di un solo capo d'accusa, relativo alla legge sullo spionaggio. Alla domanda se sarà un uomo libero, Stella Assange ha detto che l'accordo deve essere firmato da un giudice delle Isole Marianne Settentrionali. "Una volta che il giudice avrà dato la sua approvazione, allora sarà formalmente tutto vero", ha aggiunto. (ANSA).
