DOHA, 31 OTT - Il Qatar ha avvertito che gli attacchi israeliani su larga scala a Gaza "minano" la sua mediazione. "L'espansione degli attacchi israeliani nella Striscia di Gaza che include obiettivi civili, come ospedali, scuole, centri abitati e rifugi per sfollati, è una pericolosa escalation nel corso degli scontri, che potrebbe minare la mediazione e sforzi di de-escalation" del Qatar, afferma il ministero degli Esteri di Doha riportato da Al Jazeera. Nella dichiarazione si condanna l'attacco al campo profughi di Jabalia come "un nuovo massacro contro il popolo palestinese indifeso" L'escalation israeliana "porta ulteriore tensione, violenza e instabilità" si sottolinea e si invita la comunità internazionale ad "assumersi le proprie responsabilità morali e legali" per proteggere i palestinesi e garantire che Israele rispetti il ;;diritto internazionale.
