ROMA, 14 GIU - I carri armati israeliani sono entrati ieri nella parte occidentale di Rafah, mentre la città è stata sottoposta a un intenso fuoco di elicotteri, droni e artiglieria, in quello che i residenti hanno descritto come uno dei peggiori bombardamenti dell'area finora. L'assalto a Rafah, scrive il Guardian, ha allontanato più di un milione di palestinesi che vi si erano rifugiati, costringendoli in aree con scarso o nullo accesso a cibo, acqua o ripari. Le Nazioni Unite avvertono che si prevede che più di un milione di persone "dovranno affrontare la morte e la fame entro la metà di luglio". (ANSA).
