ALMATY, 10 GEN - Il New York Times ha pubblicato il suo tradizionale elenco di 52 destinazioni che vale la pena visitare nel 2024, classificando la città più grande del Kazakistan, Almaty, al 25° posto. Citando l'articolo di Craig Mod per il New York Times, "Almaty, la città più grande del Kazakistan, con una popolazione di due milioni di abitanti, ha l'atmosfera di una cittadina rurale pacifica ma attiva. Lo status di Almaty come centro culturale, tuttavia, è sempre più evidente nella sua scena gastronomica." Il viceministro del turismo e dello sport Yerzhan Yerkinbayev ha sottolineato come il Kazakistan venga sempre più spesso indicato nelle più prestigiose classifiche turistiche internazionali.
