WASHINGTON, 05 FEB - Le forze americane hanno annunciato di aver effettuato attacchi aerei contro cinque missili nello Yemen, il giorno dopo alcuni raid condotti insieme con il Regno Unito come rappresaglia per gli attacchi degli Houthi nel Mar Rosso. L'esercito americano afferma di aver "effettuato un attacco per legittima difesa" contro "un missile da crociera terrestre degli Houth" e poi contro "quattro missili da crociera anti-nave, pronti per essere lanciati contro le imbarcazioni nel Mar Rosso". Washington "ha identificato i missili nelle zone dello Yemen controllate dagli Houthi e ha stabilito che rappresentavano una minaccia imminente per le imbarcazioni della marina americana e dei mercantili nella regione".
