FIRENZE, 05 GIU - "Non ho mai voluto calunniare Patrick (Lumumba - ndr). Lui era mio amico, si è preso cura di me e mi consolò per la perdita della mia amica (Meredith Kercher - ndr). Mi dispiace di non avercela fatta a resistere alle pressioni e che lui abbia sofferto": a dirlo è stata Amanda Knox in una dichiarazione spontanea prima che la Corte di Firenze si ritirasse in camera di consiglio per decidere se sia responsabile di calunnia nei confronti dell'allora musicista congolese. "Chiedo umilmente di dichiararmi innocente" ha concluso. Di sè stessa nelle ore passate in questura ha parlato come di una ventenne "spaventata e ingannata". (ANSA).
